Thanks to TDA funds, a collaboration with Mendocino Council of Governments and Mendocino Transit Authority (MTA), we are able to provide low-cost, door-through-door transportation to seniors 55 and over and those with disabilities – we’ve done so for more than 50 years. We currently have three buses equipped with wheelchair lifts and the ability to transport a maximum of nine passengers in each. Our drivers are trained to manage the special needs associated with transporting seniors.

Door through door transportation is a unique service we provide to our seniors. Our drivers will help seniors through their door. Help with carrying their groceries and ensure their safe return home, through their front door.

This service is for any senior or disabled adult. Adults who are looking to maintain their independence. Losing the ability to drive or having limitations that hinder driving doesn’t have to be a major life change. USC transports seniors from Ukiah to medical appointments, gym membership, grocery shopping, banking, or even visiting with family and friends, from Ukiah to San Francisco and every stop in-between.
